At Metroplex BMX, our goal is to grow the sport of BMX racing of BMX racing throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond. We believe in providing riders of all skill levels with the opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive and safe environment. We partner with local governments and organizations to bring BMX racing into communities, create new tracks, and offer accessible programs for everyone. By hosting national competitions and supporting local races, we aim to bring the excitement and camaraderie of BMX racing to riders from all backgrounds.

Metroplex BMX is proud to lead the way in promoting BMX racing in Texas. Our founding track, DeSoto BMX, was America’s first covered BMX facility, setting a high standard for accessibility, safety, and design. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to the development, operation, and maintenance of tracks that riders of all ages and skill levels can enjoy. Our commitment extends to the long-term health of the BMX community, offering year-round programs, competitive events, and opportunities for community engagement.

🚦Saturday March 15th Desoto BMX Texas State Qualifier double point race • sign ups 9 to 11 am • practice begins 9:30 am (age bracket see schedule) • $35 class/cruiser • $15 balance bike • awards for 1st thru 3rd place 🚦
🏁🔥 Pro-Am entry fee $30 • must race class or cruiser • 15 expert and up 🔥🏁

Desoto BMX now has the ability to bring our Facebook posts straight to you via text! (Both IOS and Android compatible). Guess what?! There is no special app that needs to be downloaded either!

There will be a slight delay (<60 minutes) from the time we post on Facebook/IG to the time the text will get sent out. - And yes, the emojis will still come across via text 😆 for those who enjoy them!

We want to thank our Metroplex BMX Board President, Justin Wheat, for bringing another way to keep our community updated with track schedule information. He put a lot of hard work, time, and effort into getting this up and running!
