At Metroplex BMX, our goal is to grow the sport of BMX racing of BMX racing throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and beyond. We believe in providing riders of all skill levels with the opportunity to grow and thrive in a supportive and safe environment. We partner with local governments and organizations to bring BMX racing into communities, create new tracks, and offer accessible programs for everyone. By hosting national competitions and supporting local races, we aim to bring the excitement and camaraderie of BMX racing to riders from all backgrounds.

Metroplex BMX is proud to lead the way in promoting BMX racing in Texas. Our founding track, DeSoto BMX, was America’s first covered BMX facility, setting a high standard for accessibility, safety, and design. As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to the development, operation, and maintenance of tracks that riders of all ages and skill levels can enjoy. Our commitment extends to the long-term health of the BMX community, offering year-round programs, competitive events, and opportunities for community engagement.

• Homeschool Program from 3-5pm. This program is in development and for now will be an opportunity for riders that are homeschooled to get track time and potentially pointers from a USABMX Certified Coach. $10 class/cruiser
• Regular practice from 6–8 pm • $10 class/cruiser • $5 balance bike • Registration & concessions open 6–7:30 pm.😊

🚫Friday-Sunday 🚫Many of our volunteers and riders will be traveling to Capitol City BMX in Pflugerville for the Texas Nationals where many of the best amateurs from across the United States will show up to compete. If you have never been to one to watch or race, this is a great opportunity since it's so close. If you still want to race this weekend and don't want to travel, check Cowtown BMX's schedule to see if they're open.
